Medical Grade Plastic Sheet Extrusion Line by Guangzhou Customer

Background
Guangzhou Klarity Medical & Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 2000 and is a company dedicated to the production of medical grade plastic products. Their main product is a low temperature thermoplastic material used for tumor radiotherapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.

In 2010, Guangzhou Klarity Medical & Equipment Co., Ltd. ordered one set of PCL (poly-caprolactone) medical grade low temperature thermoplastic sheet extrusion lines in order to produce medical grade low temperature thermoplastic sheets. The extrusion line was developed and designed by Xiaoshan, and once produced, met all customer requirements. This extrusion line was successfully put into operation, and has been met with the customer's approval and satisfaction.

Xiaoshan's solution
In 2010, because of our extensive experience in plastic sheet production line, we started to develop a new extrusion line for producing low themperture thermoplastic sheet according to the customer's specific requirements. Finally, a polycaprolactone sheet extrusion line was successfully manufactured. It was specially produced for making medical grade low temperature thermoplastic sheets.

The sheets produced on this production line are made from a special synthetic high molecular polyester, which is a new material created through a series of physical and chemical treatments. Molecules in this material remain stable under dry room temperatures (10℃-30℃), but it will soften in 65-70℃ water after heating up in 1 to 3 minutes, or harden under room temperature within 3 to 5 minutes. The material features a light weight, high strength, and excellent permeability. It is also waterproof, allows X rays to be transmitted through it, non-toxic, tasteless, irritation free and biodegradable, making it an ideal choice for external fixation applications.

Customer benefits
After ordering Xiaoshan's equipment and putting it into use, the customer began to research green nonstick radiotherapy mask, then obtained a patent certificate and trademark from the United States. With these two improvements, their business increased by 30% on an annual basis.
